PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a PC card from being ejected from the PC card connector by mistake during data transfer. SOLUTION: In addition to the constitution of a conventional PC card connector, a switcher 5 consisting of a magnetic material which can freely swing and rotate upward and downward is provided at the tip of a conventional bar 3, and an actuator 4 is further provided; while data transfer between the PC card and an external circuit is performed, the actuator 4 is powered off associatively to prevent the PC card from being ejected even with an eject button 2 pressed. After the data transfer operation ends, the actuator 4 is powered on associatively and the PC card is pushed with the top end of the lever 6 through the operation of the eject button, so that the PC card can be ejected. |
