PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of an electric double-layer capacitor with a power supply that uses an electric double-layer capacitor as an electric power source. SOLUTION: Power is supplied from an electric double-layer capacitor 1 to a load L through a DC-DC converter T controlled so that output voltage will be constant. This makes it possible to keep the voltage applied to the load L at a specified voltage for a while, and to supply a specified value of current to the load L from the electric double-layer capacitor 1. As a result, it is possible to sufficiently discharge the electric charge accumulated in the electric double-layer capacitor 1. |
