PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a route making a detour around a spot where a driver does not want to pass and guide by raising the search cost of a route passing the set detour spot, and searching a route to the destination lowest in search cost. SOLUTION: A present position required to search a route is obtained by a present position detecting device. A destination spot and a detour spot are then set on a destination setting image plane according to spot input from an input device 1a. When the detour spot is indicated on an image plane map, for instance, this spot is stored as the coordinate value in a detour information storage means 4b. Upon the input of a search instruction, a route searching means 4a searches a road and an intersection near the detour spot, and after converting search cost for these road and intersection into high value, searches a route, and a route storage means 4c stores a guide route. Route guidance is started (4d) upon the input of a guide start instruction, and while detecting the present position of an own vehicle by the device 2 to trace the present position, guidance information based on the guide route stored (4c) is outputted (1b) with voice or display. |
