PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always horizontally hold a movable laser recording unit. SOLUTION: This laser recorder is constituted of a first unit including the bottom surface part of the recorder and a second unit turnably supported so that it can be opened with respect to the first unit. Then, the laser recording unit 24 including a laser scanning means is supported by a turning supporting point 27 in the second unit so that the laser scanning means is horizontally held with respect to the bottom surface of the recorder in the process that the second unit is opened with respect to the first unit and before and after it.
