The support has a main spring (1) which exerts a force greater than the weight of the cabin to hold the latter in equilibrium. A cable (2) exerts a traction (T) on the spring to preload it and also displace the platform. a motor drives the cable. The spring can be a mechanical or gas spring. The traction force can be exerted by a line, cable chain belt or rack. The spring can be formed by multiple springs which may be in parallel. There can be six supports which can displace the cabin along six axes.
