PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of the preparation of a document by the use of a routine format. SOLUTION: When the preparation of a document is directed using the fixed format from a keyboard 14, a CPU 11 reads out information (item information) 12b related to an item display input screen, which is displayed at the time of the preparation of the document using the routine format from a ROM 12 and displays the item display input screen, where initial contents are preliminarily inputted to specific items, based on the present time of a clock 33. At the time of input of each item in the item display input screen, the CPU 11 uses item information 12b to input characters based on display of a list of example sentences corresponding to the item as the input object and automatically inputs data to the item of 'date' using the time of the clock 33. |
