PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jam processing from being left unexecuted and to prevent an output from being erroneously started by driving a driving means for at least a time equal to or above a time required for carrying a transfer paper through plural detection means when a carrying means is closed or loaded. SOLUTION: When the transfer paper is delivered by the carrying action of an automatic inversion re-carrying device(ADU) 80 and it is not detected by a sensor S7, the ADU motor 300 is driven for a prescribed time, for example, until 500ms elapses, and stopped. Besides, when the transfer paper is detected by the sensor S7, the motor 300 is stopped and the jam processing is executed. In such a way, the judgement of jam is executed and a warning is displayed when the transfer paper is detected by one of the plural detection sensors and the motor 300 of the driving means is stopped. Thus, since the transfer paper is surely detected by the next detection means even when the jammed transfer paper is left unremoved by a user, the jam processing is prevented from being left unexecuted and the output is prevented from being erroneously started. |
