PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an induction heating cooker in serviceability and storability without reducing its heating efficiency and to reduce its cost. SOLUTION: A cooking plate 19, with a flat surface 20 formed on one side and an uneven surface 21 on the other side which consists of concentric projections and recesses, is freely removably placed on the top plate 14 of a main body case 11. The end face 22a of each projecting part 22 makes contact with the upper surface of the top plate 14. When a high frequency current is supplied to a heating coil 15 placed inside the main body case 11, eddy currents are produced at the projecting parts 22 of the uneven surface 21 to heat the cooking plate 19. The cooking plate 19 is usable in an inverted position. |
