MONITOR AND CONTROL SYSTEM WITH SIMULATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply execute a simulation test without switching connection to a controller. SOLUTION: The controller 13, a monitoring device and a simulator 14 are connected to a network transmission line 11 and two operation modes, an execution mode and a test mode, are prepared for the controller 13. When the operation mode is set up to the test mode, the controller 13 executes control operation for a simulation process value PV received from the simulator 14 through the transmission line 11 and transmits its operation result to the simulator 14 as a manipulated variable MV through the line 11. When the operation mode is set up to the execution mode, the controller 13 executes control operation for a real process value PV inputted from a controlled target 17 and outputs its operation result to the target 17 as a manipulated variable MV.
