<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make display unevennesses inconspicuos. SOLUTION: Two kinds of nonlinear resistor two-terminal elements 8, 9 are provided with respect to respective pixel electrodes 5 and also first monitor resistor two-terminal elements 8 are made so that currents flowing the elements are larger than currents of second nonlinear resistor two-terminal elements 9 when the same voltages are impressed on them and additional capacitances parallel with the second nonlinear resistor two-terminal elements 9 are formed at parts in which scanning lines 2 and area 5a of one part of the pixel electrodes 5 are overlapped. Then, in the selection period of each pixel, the first nonlinear resistor two-terminal element 8 becomes a conduction state in a write period and the second nonlinear resistor two-terminal element 9 becomes a conduction state in a compensation period.</p> |
