PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement detecting device detecting the moving position of a lens frame by means of a moving member with the simpler constitution of the member and operation sequence. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a rotary cam 11 being a moving means which is driven by a motor 6 being a driving source, a pulse generating means periodically generating pulse signals in accordance with driving by the driving source, and a light shielding member 11b being a preventing means preventing the pulse generating means from generating the pulse signal by the moving means in a specified area within the moving range of the moving means. The pulse generating means is constituted of a slit plate 8 being a pattern rotating member having a pulse generation pattern and turning, and a photointerrupter 12 being a detection part detecting the pattern. The preventing means provided at a part of the moving means and prevents the pulse signal from being generated by getting into space between the detection part and the pattern rotating member. |
