In the stop lamp switch installed and fixed onto a support plate, wherein the stop lamp switch includes an operational plate contactually operated by a brake pedal and a switch on/off operated by the operational plate, the stop lamp switch fixing structure of an automobile comprises a support hole formed on the support plate and a plurality of guide flutes formed on a girth thereof, a supporting shaft formed in the stop lamp switch and combined with the support hole, a hooked lug formed in the supporting shaft and hooked on the support plate through the guide flute, and a pressurized lug formed in the stop lamp switch so as to be closely fixed onto the support plate confronted with the hooked lug, whereby installing and fixing a stop lamp switch onto a support plate without a use of specific tools so enabling to execute a rapid and simplified work even at a confined space.
