The support component (14) is formed from a thin, flat frame component (16) of form-stable material, on which the transparency picture (12) is centrally arranged. The transparency picture is fixed onto the support component by means of a clamp device (18). The inner space (24) of the foil casing (22) enclosing the picture and support component tightly on all sides is evacuated. The material of the foil casing is weldable, and is welded along the upper side (32) and along the two broad sides.
