<p>An apparatus (300) for biologically decomposing a material, comprising a frame and a substantially airtight housing (320) rotatably mounted on the frame (20) is disclosed. The housing (320) has a first outside surface (324) and a first inside surface (327), a first end (326) and a second end (328), the first inside surface (327) defining an enclosure (325) therein. The housing also defines a plurality of openings (322) therethrough. A first air header (340) supplies air to, and a second air header (330) removes air from, a plurality of air manifolds (350) disposed external to the housing (320) and in fluid communication with the enclosure (325) through the openings (322) defined by the housing (320).</p> |
