The invention concerns a process for transporting a cellulose solution in an aqueous tertiary amine oxide through a component, the cellulose solution flowing in the component at a variable speed. The process is characterized in that, at a point at which the flow speed is comparatively low, the component has an aperture through which some of the cellulose solution flows out of the component.
