PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a male speech from a female speech with a good accuracy and with a simple composition in a speech discrimination device to discriminate human voice. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a microphone 1, an amplifier circuit 2 to amplify an output signal of the microphone 1, a low-pass filter 3 to filter an output signal of the amplifier circuit 2, and a signal amplitude measuring circuit 4 which compares an output signal amplitude of the low-pass filter 3 with a reference value and outputs the comparison result, and the low-pass filter 3 has the cutoff frequency of 125-250Hz and discriminates a pitch received from the microphone 1 based on the output of the signal amplitude measuring circuit 4. |
