This invention relates to a liquid laundry detergent composition comprising a Nil-LAS surfactant system said surfactant system comprising: i) anionic surfactants selected from the group of alkyl alkoxy sulfates and alkyl sulfates, and ii) a quaternary ammonium surfactant having formula (I), whereby R1 is a C6-C18 alkyl; y is from 1 to 6; R2, R3 and R4 are either the same or different and can be H, a C1-C8 alkyl, C1-C8 alkoxy, aryl, alkaryl or alkoxyaryl; X is a counterion.
