<p>An electromagnetic simulator used for testing the behaviour of equipment in the presence of strong electromagnetic fields. The simulator provides for the simultaneous presence of electromagnetic fields of differing polarization in a test area, thereby reducing the testing time. This is achieved by the provision of radiating horns at opposite sides of a chamber, defining the test area. Each horn has a conducting septum asymmetrically positioned in the horn and extending forwardly into the chamber.</p> |
