Right-angle coupling-piece for gas-insulated tubular conductor assemblies of HV installations

A coupling contact giving releasable connection of two tube- shaped inner conductors of a HV plant and comprising first and second ball-shaped contact bodies each assigned to one end of the tubular inner conductors to be joined. The second ball-shaped contact body consists of a contact ring (11) which contacts the associated inner conductor (9) by means of an embedded laminated contact ring (15). A hollow cylindrical connection piece (12) in the region of the two ball-shaped con- tact bodies (8,11) is provided with one laminated contact ring (13,14), and on either side of each laminated contact ring is arranged a spherical segment shell (18,19) for guiding the ball- shaped contact body.
