<p>A device for vertically positioning the human body, head downwards and supported on the shoulders, includes two substantially parallelepiped-shaped, bent sheet-metal blocks (2), mounted parallel to each other on a rectangular frame (1) resting upon the ground, wherein the relative spacing of said blocks is adjustable and the upper surface of each of said blocks (2) is provided with a cushion (20). At least one of its vertical surfaces, extending longitudinally relative to the frame (1), is provided with two or more apertures (28) for locating a support handle (4). Each of the blocks (2) is an assembly of three metal sheets, namely two bent vertical sheets (25) and one plate (26), assembled by means of screws and butterfly nuts, while the frame (1) is an assembly of two tubes (17), bent in a U shape, and two tubes (18) slidable in said first tubes (17), both sets of tubes (17, 18) having apertures suitably located so that they can be assembled by means of pins or screws.</p> |
