<p>In order to increase the accuracy of measurement when measuring wall thickness by means of an ultrasonic wall thickness measuring apparatus for extruded long products, in particular for conduits, which has at least one fixed sensor, each sensor is integrated in an outer part (1) of an extruder tool (1, 2) or in a carrier (4) mounted thereon. The transmitter and receiver side (7a, 8a) of each sensor (7, 8) is in tactile contact with the surface of the extruded long product (3), the latter being sucked against the transmitter and receiver side by the action of underpressure.</p> |
