System for cleaning a steam generator with a waterlance

The system consists of a lance unit (300) with at least one nozzle designed to connect with a high-pressure washing fluid source, a support with a transport member to carry the lance unit through the steam generator, and a control system to position the lance unit selectively in relation to the generator tubes and plates. It also has a rocker which enables the nozzle to be pivoted about an axis lying parallel to the direction of transport. The rocker unit has a pneumatic motor with control valves and a connector between the motor and lance unit. The motor is designed to rotate the nozzle about the rocker axis through an angle of some 80 degrees. The lance unit is supported by a slider extending across the steam generator, with the transport member mounted on it.
