PURPOSE:To provide a means which effectively conceals the presence of a switching command from outside by switching a mode wherein a special command group can be used and a mode wherein the command group can not be used with a command from a host controller. CONSTITUTION:This interface controller has the special command group judged to cause a problem when made open to general users, a logical key which enables the special command group to be accepted, and a key operation command which opens the logical key to make the special command group acceptable, and also has a function 6 to make an abnormal end report by regarding a key operation command as an unsupported command even when execution ends normally. With the key operation command, the host controller can not recognize the normal execution even when scanning all commands; and the presence of the switching command can effectively be concealed from the outside and the operation mode can be switched by the host controller, so the process is automated and the labor is saved. |
