Hot melt ink

A hot melt ink which comprises at least one wax, at least one colouring material, a first resin which has a softening point from room temperature to 100 DEG C, and a second resin which has a softening point from 50 DEG C to 150 DEG and higher than the softening point of the first resin can be used to record images on recording media, for instance by means of a hot melt ink jet printer.
