PURPOSE:To generate multiple column document data of an equivalent layout by extracting allotment position through the use of multiple column frame information and generating allotment position adjustment information. CONSTITUTION:A fixed frame document data decoding means 11 decodes fixed frame document data 15 and generates internal document data 16 capable of processing. Next, a multiple column frame generation means 12 constitutes a multiple column frame from internal document data 16 and generates multiple column frame information 17. Furthermore, an allotment position adjustment information extracting means 13 extracts allotment position adjustment information to be added to each logical content from internal document data 16 and multiple column frame information 17 and generates allotment position adjustment information 18. Finally, a multiple column document data generation means 14 outputs by synthesizing multiple column document data 19 from internal document data 16, multiple column frame information 17 and an allotment position adjustment information. |
