<p>A blind rivet assembly comprises a mandrel having a mandrel head (2), a pulling stem (3) and a breakneck portion. A rivet sleeve is extruded onto the mandrel. Two grooves (10,11) are formed on the outside diameter of the sleeve. Deformation of the rivet sleeve during the rivet setting operation occurs first between the grooves (10,11). <IMAGE></p> |
