A UV curable impact-resistant ink comprises UV curable resin, coloring agent, and photoinitiator for initiating polymerization of the photoinitiator. A game ball (8), e.g. a golf ball, has a cover layer (12) having a dimpled surface on which e.g. at least one indicium comprising said ink is applied, e.g. by means of pad printing or by means of stamping. A top layer (16) may be placed on said ink after UV curing thereof. The cured ink may have a sward hardness (ASTMD 2134-66) of no more than 40. |
