The up/down type door opening/closing sensing device of microwave oven has a slider(1) which forms an operation protrusion(1a) by which a door(12) is supported upon opening and rotates a rotary lever(4) upon closing. The operation protrusion(1a) is inserted into a boss(2a) of a bracket(2) and a pair of snap pins(2b)(2c) on the circumference of the boss and a stopper(2d) for limiting a rotating distance. The rotary lever(4) for operating a secondary safety switch(5), a D.O.M switch(6), a monitor switch(7) operating rotary lever(4) is comprised of a boss hole(4a) and a guide hole(4d) which are coupled to an original position recovering elastic spring(3). The operating rotating lever(4) is adapted to operate a rotating hole(4e) in a door opening/closing direction. Then, a primary safety switch(11) operating reciprocating lever(8) is operated by means a door frame of the door(12).
