The invention describes a free-standing cylindrical container for dosimetry of solids in the form of powder or small crystals, with a conical base, a scraper, a vertical shaft with a dosimetric port and specially designed stirring and dosimetric bases. The container is characterized in that the shaft 7 has a vertical slot 12 at its lower end which operates as a dosimetric port. When measuring a dose this shaft moves up and down and at the same time rotates transmitting its rotation through a pin 6 to a coaxial tube 8 which has a scraper 10 suitable for moving over the surfaces of the cone and the lower part of the base. The container together with its specially designed support 14 and dosimetric 13 bases is suitable for robotic applications. The invention may be used in fabric dyeing, in the pharmaceutical industry and in chemical laboratories and anywhere dosimetric accuracy is required. |
