PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce any risk of collapse of cargoes during transportation by a method wherein cylindrically formed films are sealed alternately so that the films intersect each other at right angles to obtain triangles each having four faces so that the triangles, two by two, have nearly the same shape except that all the triangles have the same shape, whereby the triangles, as wedges, can be easily inserted into a gap between objects to be packaged. SOLUTION: A cushioning material 1 for packaging is constituted of a back seal 12 for keeping a film 10 cylindrical and two kinds of seals for sealing the cylinder in the width direction, i.e., longitudinal seal 11 and transverse seal 13. The seals 11 and seals 13 are not perpendicular to the cylinder, but are inclined and sealed. Two of four faces of a triangle pyramid obtained each have the same triangular shape. Thus triangles A are made the mirror images of trianles B and they are alternately connected in a chain form. And they are separated along a perforation and the bodies A and B are combined, three by three, to form a cube. And if the bodies A and B, connected in series, are used as fillers, number of them can be reduced. |
