PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption and to purify exhaust gas by shifting the maximum evaporation rate point of fuel droplets on a heating surface to the high temperature side, and raising set temperature on the heating surface to promote gasification of fuel. SOLUTION: A heater 6 for fuel gasification is arranged in an injection area of an injection nozzle 5a of a fuel injector 5 in the inside of an intake manifold 4 connected to a combustion chamber 2 of an gasoline engine 1 through a suction valve 3. The heater 6 is heated by an electrified heating member and it is furnished with a heating body 10 on which a ceramic coated layer 9 is formed by flame coating zirconia (ZrO2 ) on an upper surface of a metallic plate 7 as a base material. Surface temperature with fuel droplets attached on a surface of the ceramic coated layer 9 heated at 300 deg.C by being injected from the injection nozzle 5a is devised to be maintained at lower temperature than temperature at which gasoline locally causes a Leyden frost phenomenon, as the ceramic coated layer 9 is made of zirconia of a low thermal conduction rate. |
