PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color addition circuit in a picture processing capable of simplifying a circuit and lowering a price by adding colors by using a priority circuit (object/background picture switching means) and a palette circuit. SOLUTION: Object information is switched and outputted in the half cycle of one cycle by the object/background picture switching means 1 and RGB signals corresponding to palette numbers or the like are read in the palette circuit 2. Then, they are held in a flip-flop circuit 3. Background picture information is switched and outputted in the next half cycle, the RGB signals are read from the palette circuit 2 similarly and the RGB signals and the RGB signals of the flip-flop circuit 3 are color-added in an adder 4. The RGB signals of the adder 4 are converted to analog signals in a D/A converter 5 and sent to a CRT. |
