<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by simplifying the attaching structure of an air filter. SOLUTION: In an air conditioner having a main body base, a front cover 6 attached to the front of the main body base 2, an air filter 10 provided in an air sending chamber connecting suction ports 19, 20 formed to the upper surface and front surface of the front cover 6 and a blowoff port 18 provided to the lower part of the main body base 20, a heat exchanger 3 and a blower, the heat exchanger 3 is divided into a plurality of parts in a horizontal direction and the lower end of the front suction port 20 and the rear end of upper suction ports 8, 17 are arranged in an inverted V-shape or arch shape. The air filter 10 is provided between the front suction port 20, the upper suction ports 8, 17 and the heat exchanger 3 in a freely detachable manner and, since the leading end of the air filter 10 is guided by the rib 9 protruding forwardly along with the main body base, it is unnecessary to provide the large-scaled guide member preventing the hooking of the air filter 10 to the upper part of the heat exchanger 3 and assembling work becomes simple and product cost can be reduced.</p> |
