<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for liquefying waste plastic material, capable of eliminating clogging of the equipment due to crystals of phthalic acids and smoothly treating many kinds of plastics. SOLUTION: In this method for liquefying waste plastic material by decomposing a melted waste plastic material in a thermal decomposition furnace 10 to gasify the material and cooling the gas by a condenser 11 to liquefy the gas, a two trains-changing over type heat exchanger 12 is arranged between the thermal decomposition furnace 10 and the condenser 11 and gas generated from the thermal decomposition furnace 10 is cooled by one heat exchanger A to remove phthalic acids contained therein by crystallization and when phthalic acids are packed in either one heat exchanger A, the heat exchanger A is changed over to other heat exchanger B to remove phthalic acids in gas and the temperature in either one heat exchanger A is raised to evaporate the crystallized phthalic acids and the phthalic acids are recovered by a phthalic acids-recovering apparatus 19 separately provided.</p> |
