<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a pavement material enabling the improvement of abrasion resistance of concrete pavement by mixing and kneading thinned pieces of a recovery carpet into a mortar composition and at the same time to enable the effective recycling of the recovery carpet. SOLUTION: This pavement material is produced by mixing and kneading thinned pieces of a recovery carpet into a mortar composition consisting of cement, a small aggregate and water. The compounding ratio of the thinned pieces of the recovery carpet to the mortar composition is preferably <=40wt.%. It is preferable that the thinned pieces of the recovery carpet has a size of <=10mm<2> in the area of carpet base material 1-side. Further, the thinned pieces are preferably prepared by cutting a carpet, consisting of a carpet base material 1 in which pile yarns 3 are planted in a tufting base cloth 2 and a filling layer 4 formed on the reverse side of the carpet base material 1, in roughly diagonal direction against the carpet obverse surface.</p> |
