PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a carbide-state foreign matter sticking to the surface of a drawing pipe to be completely removed. SOLUTION: A wiping material 32 such as a sponge, rubber or fiber-is pressed against the peripheral surface of a pipe 1 and is moistened by an organic solvent. At the same time, the wiping material 32 or the pipe 1 is moved forward in the axial direction of the pipe 1. In addition, the wiping material 32 such as the sponge, rubber or fiber is pressed against the peripheral surface of the pipe 1 on the draw-out side of a die over the drawing operation. Further, the wiping material 32 is moistened by the organic solvent. |
