<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for storing fruits such as persimmons or apples, capable of uniformizing the inner temperature of the container to improve the storage effect and maintain the freshness of the fruits over a long period on the storage of the fruits by improving the air permeability of the container especially when a large amount of the fruits are piled up for their storage. SOLUTION: This container A1 for the storage of the fruits is provided with a container main body 1 whose upper part is opened, and a lid 2 for closing the opening. The container main body 1 is provided with a bottom plate 11 and side plates 12, 13, 14, 15. Air-permeating grooves 16 having each an U-shaped cross section are formed on the outer surfaces of the bottom plate 11 and the side plates 12, 13, 14, 15 in parallel to each other and in the longitudinal and latitudinal directions at a constant distance. A fitting projection 17 is disposed over the whole periphery on the inner surface side of the upper opening 10 of the container main body 1. The same air-permeating grooves 21 as the air-permeating grooves of the container main body 1 are disposed on the outer surface of the lid 2. An outer fitting part 22 capable of being air-tightly fit onto the outer peripheral surfaces of the fitting projection 17 of the container main body 1 is formed on the lower surface side of the outer peripheral part of the lid 2.</p> |
