PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a print image with sufficient density on all kinds of paper by using specific colored resin particles in an ink jet recording method wherein an ink at least contg. colored resin particles and a dispersion medium mainly comprising water is jetted to record. SOLUTION: Colored resin particles used are colored with a dye, comprise a copolyester resin formed by reacting a polycarboxylic acid component contg. 80mol% or higher cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid with a polyhydric alcohol component comprising 50-70mol% aliph. diol (e.g. ethylene glycol) and 30-50mol% tricyclodecanedimethanol and having 100-500eq./ton trialkanolamine carboxylate groups as ionic groups, and have a wt. average particle size (α) of 0.2-0.5μm. An ink used contains the particles and a dispersion medim and satisfies the relations: α<2> .(ρ-1)/η.100<=0.5 [wherein α(μm) is as described above; ρ is the specific gravity of the particles; and η (mPa.sec) is the viscosity of the medium at 20 deg.C]. |
