PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make this shaft coupling manufacturable inexpensively by forming it into such a simple structure that a second inner cylinder is merely added to a solid body consisting of a first inner cylinder, a cylindrical elastic body and an outer cylinder. SOLUTION: A damper 10 is of structure having a torsion spring constant of two- stage characteristics, and it is composed of a first inner cylinder 3, a second inner cylinder 4, a cylindrical elastic body 5 such as rubber or the like, and an outer cylinder 6, and an axial half area of the outer circumferential surface is set to a small diameter each. The second inner cylinder 4 is externally fitted in, under pressure, a small diametral part 3b of the small diameter of the first inner cylinder 3, while the outer cylinder 6 is internally fitted in and clamped to a cylindrical shaft 1 by means of press-in. The cylindrical elastic body 5 is annealed of its outer circumferential surface to the whole surface of an inner circumferential surface of the outer cylinder 6, and an almost half area in the axial direction of the inner circumferential surface is tempered to an outer circumferential surface of a large diametral part 3a of the first inner cylinder 3. In this constitution like abovementioned, construction is by far simple in terms of structure, manufacture is easy enough and, what is more, cost is reducible.
|
