PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rigid polyurethane foam excellent in dimensional stability, bonding strength and low-temperature foamability by using an isocyanate component, a polyol component, an aromatic amino or imino compound, and water or a water-containing blowing agent. SOLUTION: In a process for producing a rigid polyurethane foam by using at least an isocyanate component, a polyol component and a blowing agent, aromatic amino and/or imino compounds [desirably a compound of the formula (wherein R<1> and R<2> are each H, a 1-6C alkyl; R<3> and R<4> are each a 1-6C alkyl, a 2-6C alkoxycarbonyl, COOH or a halogen; m and n are each 0, 1 or 2; and A is a 1-3 C alkylene)] is used in an amount of 10-85 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. active hydrogen component (except water), and the blowing agent is water or a water-containing blowing agent. According to this process, a rigid polyurethane foam excellent in dimensional stability, bonding strength and foamability at a temperature as low as 25 deg.C or below can be obtained. |
