PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inputting the Chinese character information in a machine tool, capable of efficiently inputting Chinese characters in the site. SOLUTION: A Chinese character information file 9 having the specified format is formed by converting the limited Chinese character information to be used in a machine tool by a Chinese character converting device 3 previously provided independent of the machine tool, and it is transferred to a control device 13 of the machine tool by using an information transmitting medium 11, displayed by an outputting means 23 of the control device 13, and selected and used by an input means 21. Since the conversion of the Chinese characteristics is performed by only the Chinese character converting device 3, the Chinese character converting function is not required for the control device 13 of the machine tool, and therefore, the Chinese character information can be input by a simple inputting device 1 for the Chinese character information. |
