PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a belt-shaped paste made from a starch of devil's tongue (konnyaku), having the shape of a bundled thread-like konnyaku and hardly separated by the breaking of the bundle while keeping the good crispness, and a perforated plate used therefor. SOLUTION: This method for producing a belt-shaped konnyaku comprises extruding a paste of the konnyaku through a plate 1 equipped with perforated holes for forming, which are wavy perforated holes 2 constituted by forming each of angular shaped notches 2c having their bottoms at the peripheral parts 2b along to each of the peripheral parts 2b of the longer side of a slit-like opening 2a with prescribed intervals so as to alternately arrange the angular notches 2c formed in one side and the angular notches 2d formed in the other side, and impart a wavy form having a continuous half circular cross section to the both sides of the belt-shaped paste of konnyaku formed by the extrusion by taking advantage of the expansion of the paste of the konnyaku passed through the angular shaped notches. |
