PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nontoxic virus proliferation inhibitor without side effects derived from natural produces and a pharmaceutical composition containing the virus proliferation inhibitor. SOLUTION: This virus proliferation inhibitor contains, as active ingredient, at least one selected from a group of at least one crushed plant selected from part or the whole of a plant group consisting of plants which belong to Raphanus and produce virus proliferation inhibitory substance, plants which belong to Nymphaeaceae and produce virus proliferation inhibitory substance, and plants which belong to Glycine and produce virus proliferation inhibitory substance, plants which belong to Nymphaeaceae and produce virus proliferation inhibitory substance, juice squeezed from part on the whole of the above- mentioned plants, and an extract of part or the whole of the above-mentioned plants. The other objective pharmaceutical composition contains the virus proliferation inhibitor mentioned above. |
