<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of drain and to provide high compression performance by reducing the pressure in an intermediate piping at an initial stage of compression operation. SOLUTION: A piston 13 is slidably inserted into the cylinder 4 of a low pressure side cylinder 3 and a suction room 10 and a discharge room 11 are formed in a cylinder head 9. Air sucked in a compression room 5 from the suction room 10 is compressed by the piston 13 and compressed air is discharged to the discharge room 11. A suction port 7 and a discharge port 8B are formed in a valve seat plate 6 and the suction port 7 is opened and closed by a suction valve 14 and the discharge port 8B is opened and closed by a discharge valve 15B. The discharge room 11 is provided with a valve opening controller 16 for the discharge valve 15B and the valve opening action of the discharge valve 15B is controlled by pushing the push rod 20 of the valve opening controller 16 in the direction of an arrow F.</p> |
