RESIN CONCRETE AND RESIN MORTAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin concrete containing a small amount of a blended resin while maintaining excellent executability and strength by blending an aggregate with a binder and a filler and specifying the oil absorption volume of the filter and the slump value of the concrete. SOLUTION: This resin concrete comprises 50-92 pts.wt. aggregate, 3-60 pts.wt. binder and 5-44 pts.wt. filter. (1) The filter has <=150ml oil absorption volume of dioctyl phthalate based on 100cm<3> filler and (2) the slump value of the resin concrete measured by a method according to JIS A 1101 (a testing method for the slump of concretes) is within the range of 12-21cm. The binder is preferably a methacrylate resin. The resin concrete is capable of maintaining excellent executability, strength and durability even when the amount of the resin blended in the composition is small. Thereby, a lower cost of the resin concrete can be realized.
