PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily set a required time on the part of an operator at the time of energizing a rear window defogger for the required time with a switch operated. SOLUTION: While a defogger is being driven (energized), if a defogger switch is turned on within a required time T1 , energizing is suspended, a time T2 having been energized so far is renewed to the required time, and subsequently, electricity is turned on only for the period of the time T2 . On the other hand, after the period of the required time T1 has elapsed, within a certain time t, for example, five minutes, if the defogger switch is turned on, electricity is turned on for the period of the time T1 , concurrently, the required time T is renewed to T1 +α(for example,αis three minutes) = T3 and subsequently, electricity is turned on for the period of the time T3 .
