PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently work an axially eccentric lens by laying a holding part with a bottom inclined by the prescribed angle from a plane vertical to a holder axis for positioning and fixing a working plane at the holding side opposite to a plane as a working object. SOLUTION: A lens holder 20 at the time of working the second plane has a shape similar to a lens holder to work the first plane, and a principal recess 21 as a circular groove is formed on the center of the lens holder 20. Also, and auxiliary member 22 is laid in the principal recess 21. The bottom B3 of the principal recess 21 is inclined from a plane B1 vertical to a holder axis 50 by the second angleβfor the spherical working of the second plane, and the side of the principal recess 21 is also inclined by the second angleβ. The spherically worked first plane is held with the auxiliary member in the principal recess 21.
