PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave gear device which prevents the occurrence of deformation in a part of an internal tooth formed in a device, even when unreasonable stress is generated in a rigid internal gear caused by an assembly error or the like. SOLUTION: A rigid internal gear 5 of a wave gear device 1 is constituted by providing a rigid tooth part 53 formed with an internal tooth 52 in the internal peripheral surface, tightening part 55 fixedly tightened to a device housing side or the like and a connection part 54 connecting these rigid tooth part and tightening part, the rigidity of the connection part 54 is set so as to be markedly small as compared with the rigid tooth part 53. Even when unreasonable stress is generated in this rigid internal gear 5 caused by an assembly error or the like of each part, the connection part 54 of low rigidity is first deformed. Consequently, unreasonable stress is prevented from being transmitted to a side of the rigid tooth part 53 formed with the internal tooth 52 in the internal peripheral surface. Therefore, the rigid tooth part 53 is deformed, the internal tooth 52 formed therein is also prevented from being improperly meshed with an external tooth 62 of a flexible external gear 6. |
