The antenna (1) combines the position-diversity and angle-diversity operation criteria. Thanks to such combination, the antenna gain (G) has maxima already when the distance (d) between the antenna elements (5) is comparable with the operation wavelength ( lambda ) or with a fraction of that wavelength. The preferred application concerns micro-cell or pico-cell mobile radio communications systems operating in urban environment.
