<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a pressing plate by placing the free end of an elastically deformed pressing plate whose one end is fixed to the upper surface of a caliper between the projecting pieces of one pin boss part and engaging the free end of the pressure plate with a groove provided in the outer periphery of a pin. SOLUTION: In order to assemble an outer pad 14 and an inner pad 15 in a caliper 1, first the free end of a pressing plate 14 is lifted by grasping the holding part thereof with a hand and a pin 13 is inserted into its pin hole from the outside of a first pin boss part 16. At the same time, the tip part thereof is inserted into the pin hole of a second pin boss part 17 by inserting the outer and inner pads 14 and 15. When the pressing plate 24 is released from the grasping of the hand during the inserting of the pin 13 or in an inserting end, the free end of the pressing plate 24 is fitted in the peripheral wall of the pin 13 by its own elastic force and thus pulling of the pin 13 out of the first and second pin boss parts 16 and 17 is regulated by the pressing plate 24.</p> |
